Inside Arpita Mehta and Kunal Rawal\’s wedding: Mira and Shahid Kapoor were twinning in white ensembles
Millennial fashion designers Arpita Mehta and Kunal Rawal tied the knot at Taj Palace Mumbai on 28th August. The couple shared some stunning pictures of their wedding on IG. They were dressed in ethereal ivory ensembles for their big day.
The festivities was a star studded affair with a lot of Bollywood celebs in attendance.
Arpita Mehta and Kunal Rawal \’s big fat Indian wedding
Arpita Mehta wore a gold kasab cutdana mirrorwork lahenga with cream threadwork and french knots with elbow-length sleeves mirrorwork choli. Her lahenga was inspired by old-school golden mirror patterns. She teamed it with three dupattas. One was draped on her body which had a beautiful border and their initials AMKR2022 embroidered on it. The second was an organza ivory cream head dupatta with a border. She completed her look with a 4mt long tulle veil which had 3D mirrorwork flowers stitched in cream thread with a delicate border on all sides. Arpita used a total of 18700 mirrors for her wedding look.
She left her hair open and paired it with classic polki jewellery. One thing that you cannot miss is her dainty kaleeras and pink minimal chooda.
Kunal wore a hand embroidered sherwani with an ivory safa and white and gold odhni.

The power couple Shahid Kapoor and Mira Rajput were part of the groom\’s squad. Shahid and Mira were twinning in white. Mira wore a ruffle- drape saree by none other than Arpita Mehta and Shaid was dressed in a self designed pathani style kurta with a nehru jacket.
New mommy Sonam Kapoor could not make it to the wedding but was present via video call. Rhea Kapoor made sure her sister was a past of the festivities.
