Nita Ambani Shops for Sarees in Varanasi Ahead of Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant\’s Wedding
Nita Ambani, the founder and Chairperson of Reliance Foundation, was recently seen in Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh, shopping for sarees. Her visit on June 24 was part of the preparations for her younger son Anant Ambani’s wedding to Radhika Merchant, scheduled for July 12 in Mumbai.
Nita Ambani makes a Visit to Varanasi
During her visit to the holy city, Nita Ambani offered prayers at the renowned Kashi Vishwanath temple. She presented the wedding invitation of Anant and Radhika at the temple to seek blessings and participated in the Ganga Aarti. Additionally, she enjoyed local chaat, immersing herself in the cultural essence of Varanasi.

A video shared on Instagram by @ambani_update captured Nita Ambani browsing sarees at a local shop in Varanasi. In the video, she is seen inquiring about different saree colorus, including a specific request for sarees without bird motifs.

The Grand Wedding Invite of Anant and Radhika
Details of Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant\’s elaborate wedding invite have surfaced online. The intricately designed red coloured invite features motifs of Hindu deities. When opened, a miniature silver temple slides out, accompanied by devotional music. The invite includes several gifts such as an embroidered cloth with the initials “AR,” a blue shawl, and a box of sweets.

Ambani pre-wedding celebrations
Leading up to the wedding, the Ambani family hosted two grand pre-wedding celebrations. The first was a three-day event in Jamnagar, followed by a luxurious cruise across the Mediterranean, setting the tone for the grand wedding.
