The most talked about couple in the industry Katrina Kaif and Vicky Kaushal, are all set to tie the knot on 9th of December ( as reported by Etimes). The wedding would take place in Ranthambore, and it would be a 3 day affair, starting from 7th of December. Here are the insider updates of the much awaited wedding.

The Proposal

Vicky proposed to Katrina with a box of chocolate brownies with a card in it saying, \’Will you marry me?\’ .To which the lady said yes.

The couple\’s roka was an intimate ceremony at close friend Kabir Khan and Mini Mathur\’s residence in Mumbai. Katrina was spotted wearing a stunning bright red lehenga for the function which was celebrated with a lot of love and grandeur.

Wedding Venue

Katrina Kaif and Vicky Kaushal\’s wedding venue is a royal fort in Ranthambore. A beautiful 14th-century fort sensitively converted to become a Six Senses sanctuary of well-being. Originally owned by a Rajasthani Royal Family, it faces the Chauth ka Barwara Mandir temple. The significant conservation effort incorporates two palaces and two temples within the walled fort. The design of Six Senses resort in Rajasthan reinterprets the gracious and regal ambiance of a bygone era dating back 700 years.

45 other hotels have been booked in Ranthambore for the wedding festivities.

As reported, the couple would be dressed in Sabyasachi for their big day. Katrina would don a raw silk lehenga for her pheras. Vicky Kaushal is expected to wear Kunal Rawal for the pre wedding celebrations.

Guest List

The couple would host the who\’s who of Bollywood. Some of the guests who are sure to attend the wedding are Karan Johar, Farah Khan, Rohit Shetty, Kiara Advani, Varun Dhawan, Natasha Dalal, and Siddharth Malhotra.

Reports say that some of the celebrities who won’t be attending the big day are Salman Khan, Shah Rukh Khan, Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, Deepika Padukone, Amir Khan, and Akshay Kumar.

Court Marriage

The couple will have a registered marriage before they leave for Ranthambore for the wedding festivities.

Mehandi for Katrina Kaif

Special mehendi from Sojat (Rajasthan) will be supplied for the bride-to-be and her guests for the pre-wedding ceremony. The mehendi will be handmade and completely natural for the #VicKat wedding. 20 kilos of mehendi powder and 400 henna cones will be sent to the venue.

Sangeet Choreography

Karan Johar and Farah Khan would choreograph the sangeet ceremony for the couple. Karan would handle the groom\’s side and Farah would do it for Katrina.

As the couple does not want any media attention, there is a strict no phone policy at the venue.
