Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant are set to marry in a few hours. The couple, who met during college, will tie the knot on July 12, 2024, in Mumbai. Anant, who once decided to remain unmarried and focus on animal welfare, changed his mind after meeting Radhika on a long drive with friends. Mother of the groom, Nita Ambani chose a statement piece by Abu Jani for son\’\’s wedding.

Nita Ambani wearing Abu Jani and Sandeep lehenga for son\’s wedding

Nita Ambani chose a stunning lehenga by designers Abu Jani and Sandeep Khosla for her son Anant\’s wedding. The custom-made silk ghagra features vintage bronze, blushing pink, and pistachio green tones. The jali blouse is adorned with Naqshi and Saadi gold and silver zardozi work, finished with Swarovski crystals. The regal outfit took 40 days to create.

The wedding festivities will begin at 3 PM with a safa tying ceremony. The varmala ceremony is scheduled for 8 PM, followed by the Lawa Phera at 9:30 PM. On July 14, 2024, the Ambani family will host a grand reception at Jio World Convention Centre.

Graha Shanti Puja for Anant and Radhika

Before the wedding, the Ambanis hosted a Graha Shanti Puja for the couple\’s prosperity and happiness. Radhika wore a traditional Gujarati draped saree with a pink blouse, subtle makeup, and a peer bindi. Her accessories included a neckpiece, matching earrings, a maang teeka, and a brahmi nath. Her half-up hairstyle, adorned with gajra, added to her elegant look. Anant wore a red kurta with a Nehru jacket featuring golden work and a cow motif.

During the puja, rituals dedicated to their Kuldevi, Randal Maa, were performed to harmonize the influence of the nine planets and bring positivity to their new beginning. A heartwarming moment was captured when Radhika put a varmala on Anant, and they hugged each other.
