Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant: The Decade\’s Grandest Wedding with Innovative Themes and Star-Studded Guests

Anant Ambani, youngest son of Mukesh Ambani, and Radhika Merchant, daughter of pharmaceutical tycoon Viren A. Merchant, celebrated their wedding with unmatched extravagance. The wedding, which honored Gujarati traditions while embracing modern elements, took place across multiple stunning locations: Jamnagar, the United Kingdom, Italy, and Mumbai.

Jamnagar: The Beginning of Celebrations

The festivities began in Jamnagar, Gujarat, at Vantara—a 3000-acre zoo and animal rehabilitation center within Reliance’s Jamnagar Refinery Complex. This location holds special significance for the Ambani family. The celebrations featured performances by international pop star Rihanna and the three Khans of Bollywood. Tech giants Mark Zuckerberg and Bill Gates were also in attendance.

Stoke Park, UK: A Royal Affair

The second set of pre-wedding celebrations took place at Stoke Park Country Club, Spa, and Hotel in Bristol, United Kingdom. Acquired for 529 crores, this 300-acre estate, dating back to 1066, added a touch of royal elegance to the festivities.

Sicilian Coast: Luxury Cruise

The celebrations then moved to the Sicilian coast. A four-day luxury cruise from Palermo to Rome, Cannes, and Portofino featured performances by Backstreet Boys, rapper Pitbull, and pop star Katy Perry. The grand finale included a performance by Italian tenor Andrea Bocelli in Portofino.

Mumbai: Traditional Gujarati Rituals

Back in Mumbai, the families celebrated with a series of traditional Gujarati rituals. Venues included the Trident Hotel, The St. Regis, Antilla, and Jio World Convention Centre. The festivities included Samuhik Vivah, Mameru, Raas Garba, Sangeet, Mandwa Muhurat, Mehndi, Grah Shanti, Peethi, Bhajan, and Shiv Shakti puja. Pop star Justin Bieber performed at the Sangeet.
